The Seattle Seahawks are shopping Michael Bennett in trade talks, and the Atlanta Falcons reportedly are among the teams interested in the defensive end.
ESPN’s Vaughn McClure reported on Sunday evening that the Falcons are one of the teams to discuss a trade with the Seahawks for Bennett.
Bennett, 32, is signed through 2020. He hinted at the end of the regular season that his time with Seattle was ending, so it’s expected he will be with a new team next season.
Bennett is one of the better pass rushers in the league. He has 23.5 sacks over the past three seasons. The interest from the Falcons would make sense considering their head coach, Dan Quinn, used to be Seattle’s defensive coordinator.
