The news comes as a massive relief to the Lions. Ragnow, a 2018 first-round pick, is a major part of the team’s offensive line, and started all 16 games in his rookie season. The fact that he was unable to put weight on his right leg as he left the field, leaving many fearing the worst.
The Lions are still waiting on news about another injury suffered in the same game. Starting linebacker Jarrad Davis’ injury looked arguably even more serious than Ragnow’s, and Detroit is holding its breath on that one.
