Fred Jackson is ‘not going to make it easy’ for LeSean McCoy
Fred Jackson has been with the Bills his entire career. He’s shared the backfield with Marshawn Lynch and C.J. Spiller. This offseason, the team traded for LeSean McCoy, who will surely receive the majority of carries in Buffalo this year. Despite McCoy’s arrival, Jackson isn’t ready to take a diminished role just yet.
Speaking about his new teammate, Jackson seemed intent on doing what he can to ensure his involvement in Rex Ryan’s offense.

Fred Jackson: "They say (LeSean McCoy) is going to be the bell cow, but I'm not gong to make it easy for him."

LeSean McCoy is among the more explosive players in the NFL and the Bills would be best served to have the ball in his hands when possible in a variety of ways. However, Jackson has proven to be a valuable commodity over the years. His ability to carry the ball and catch passes gives offensive coordinator Greg Roman another asset to use as he sees necessary. It just may not happen as often as Fred Jackson would like it to with McCoy’s now on the roster.
