Giants GM Dave Gettleman is done answering Odell Beckham questions
The New York Giants made a decision to move on from Odell Beckham Jr when they traded him back in March, and general manager Dave Gettleman wants to media to allow them to follow through with that.
Beckham has spoken about his time with the Giants on numerous occasions this offseason, which has naturally led to people in New York being asked about it. During his media availability on Friday, Gettleman tried to put a stop to that when a reporter brought up the recent comments Beckham made in a GQ interview.

“How I would respond is Odell plays for the Cleveland Browns now, and we’re moving on,” Gettleman said. “We wish him the best. It’s over.”
When the follow-up also pertained to Beckham, Gettleman simply said, “no more Odell questions.”
Gettleman has brought some of this on himself by subtly calling out Beckham for creating problems in New York, but you can’t blame him for wanting to move forward. Beckham was critical of the Giants in his GQ interview for the way they handled the trade, and even Eli Manning could not resist when given an opportunity to respond. However, Gettleman needs to help his team prepare for 2019, and Beckham is no longer part of the team.
