Golden Tate drops a ‘trust the process’ after latest Giants loss
The New York Giants dropped to 2-8 with Sunday’s loss to the rival New York Jets, further frustrating a fanbase that is sticking with a team that doesn’t seem to be improving.
After the game, wide receiver Golden Tate offered an apology to fans before adding that they need to “trust the process” of the team’s rebuild.
After offering an apology to Giants fans, WR Golden Tate says “The only thing I can ask for right now is to be patient. Trust the process.”

Many Giants fans would probably ask what the process is. The team has drafted talented young players like Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley, but their defense is brutal and needs to be addressed. They scored 27 points against the Jets on Sunday — they just gave up 34.
The “trust the process” phrase is closely associated with the Philadelphia 76ers. Their process has brought them into contention. The Giants are still waiting, and as they play out their sixth losing season in the last seven years, they might be waiting a while.
