Report: Jalen Ramsey suspended by Jaguars for going after reporter
Jalen Ramsey has been suspended by the Jacksonville Jaguars for going after a writer on Twitter, according to a report.
Ramsey sent a tweet directed at Jags reporter Phillip Heilman on Sunday talking about starting a “war” with the media.
“you know you done messed up right? Lol if y’all want war, we got sum for y’all. & Iknow the rest of y’all (you know who you are) gone read this too so just know,” he wrote in his tweet at Heilman.
Ramsey also added a hashtag saying “lamea–writers.”
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported a few hours after Ramsey sent the tweet that the cornerback had been suspended a week by the team.
#Jaguars All-Pro CB Jalen Ramsey was suspended by the team for a week, sources say, after going after local media for what he believes is unfair treatment of his teammates especially Dante Fowler. He authored several tweets in support of his teammates & disdain for local media.
