New York Jets safety Jamal Adams ended a tumultuous week with an injury amid strange circumstances.
With 59 seconds left and the Jets trailing 26-15, Adams was escorted to the tunnel with what the team called a possible head injury. He did, however, appear to be angrily exchanging words with someone.
Jamal Adams leaves field with about one minute remaining for some reason. Have no idea what was going on. Appeared he had something to say to someone as he was departing field pic.twitter.com/fSs9jLaXFG

Without the injury report, this looked very puzzling, almost as if Adams was storming off the field early. Given how he feels about the team he plays for right now, it wasn’t a reach to wonder whether something had sparked an outburst. Adams may have been angry, but per the Jets, he was also injured and getting checked out.
