Jeremy Lane: Rob Gronkowski is not that good
If the New England Patriots are looking for things to take their minds off of the Deflategate disaster, perhaps the comments Seattle Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane made on Thursday will help.
Simply put, Lane does not believe the hype that surrounds Rob Gronkowski.
“I actually don’t think he’s that good. He’s OK,” Lane told reporters, per Curt Crabtree of Sports Radio KJR. “He does have a big body. From what Ive seen on tape, he don’t like your hands being put on him.”
Lane is right. Gronkowski does not like when defenders put their hands on them, which is why he usually tosses them aside like rag dolls when they try.
While we know Gronkowski is not going to be allowed to respond to Lane’s trash talk, fans of 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Toucher and Rich Show have already grabbed Gronk’s back with a “#ThingsJeremyLaneSays” movement on Twitter.

If we can ever move past all the drama surrounding Deflategate, there will be some great storylines leading up to Super Bowl XLIX.
