Jeremy Langford reportedly out 4-6 weeks with sprained ankle
The Chicago Bears are 0-3, and the news doesn’t get any better from here.
According to a report by Adam Schefter of ESPN on Monday, running back Jeremy Langford is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a sprained ankle.

Langford rushed five times for 46 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys before being carted off with the injury in the second half. In the two games before that, Langford only recorded a total of 85 rushing yards on 28 carries and was already losing some touches to first-year back Jordan Howard prior to getting hurt.
Faith in Langford’s development after his strong rookie campaign in 2015 was a big driving factor in the Bears’ decision to part ways with veteran Matt Forte this offseason. While hindsight is obviously always 20/20, this latest development will almost certainly give Chicago management second thoughts about the direction they chose to go in over the summer.
