Jeremy Maclin left Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the first half, and it appears the wide receiver suffered a head injury.
Maclin hit his head and neck area on the turf while trying to catch a pass from Joe Flacco. The Baltimore Ravens announced that he had entered the NFL’s concussion protocol. He likely will not return.
The Ravens were getting dominated by the Jaguars at the time Maclin left the game. Maclin, who says he played through a significant injury in 2016, will need to be cleared before he can return to practice during the week.
