Jets Coach Sal Alosi Tries to Trip Dolphins Nolan Carroll (Video)
After the Jets were embarrassed by the Patriots last Monday night, many wondered if the shellacking they took would send them into a downward spiral for the remainder of the season. That remains to be seen, but New York looked pretty terrible against the Dolphins on Sunday, once again being held without an offensive touchdown. As a result, Miami had the Jets scrambling for ways to gain the upper hand. By that I mean a member of New York’s coaching staff tried to trip a Dolphins’ player during a punt. Check out the video of Sal Alosi tripping the Dolphins’ Nolan Carroll:
Players throwing cheap shots is bad enough. Coaches sticking knees out on punt coverage? That’s about as bush league as it gets and a great way to get someone seriously hurt. When guys are running full speed down the field, that’s not something to mess with. I guess it really is any port in the storm for Rex Ryan’s boys right now.
