Report: Jets signing Teddy Bridgewater to one-year deal

The New York Jets have found their quarterback.

According to multiple reports, the Jets are signing Teddy Bridgewater to a one-year deal worth $15 million in maximum incentives.

This looks to be win-win for both parties. The Jets, who have wanted Bridgewater since their Kirk Cousins pursuit fell through, may not necessarily be contenders, but they have a high-upside quarterback under center who will get a fair shot at the job without a huge amount of pressure to win now. For Bridgewater, he can work his way back from a knee injury and prove himself, with an opportunity to earn a big contract next offseason if he is successful.
