Houston Texans defensive end JJ Watt recorded two sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and caught a touchdown pass against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, and he was mic’d up for every last bit of it.
Before the game, Watt told teammate DeAndre Hopkins to make sure he has some popcorn ready for the show the defensive end was about to put on. Watt also recommended grabbing some Jujubees, a slushy or some “Snowcaps, perhaps.”
It got better from there. Watt abused Titans left tackle Will Svitek for most of the afternoon, and he felt like he was being held on every play. He complained to an official about it at one point.
“Are you kidding me?” he said. “I’m beating these guys like a drum out here.”
Watt later said that Svitek was “stumbling over his own feet.”
