The Texans confirmed that Watt will pay for the funerals, per ABC 13.
10 people were killed and 10 more were wounded in a shooting at the school, which is located about 35 miles away from Houston.
Watt offering to pay for the funerals is a wonderful gesture by an athlete who has made it a priority to help his community. Recall that Watt raised over $37 million to aid the recovery from Hurricane Harvey in Houston last year. He was honored as the Walter Payton Man of the Year and continues to live up to that honor.
