Joe Burrow has made a decision regarding offseason surgery on his knee.

Burrow hurt his knee during his Cincinnati Bengals’ 23-20 Super Bowl loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Feb. 13. Testing revealed that Burrow suffered a sprained MCL in the game.

At the Scouting Combine on Tuesday, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor shared that Burrow has decided not to undergo surgery and to rest his knee instead.

Burrow suffered a torn ACL and MCL in Week 11 of his rookie season in 2020 and spent last year rehabbing. He was playing well in his rookie season prior to the injury. In 2021, he did even better, exploding for 4,611 passing yards, 34 touchdown passes and 14 interceptions. He helped lead his team to the Super Bowl.

After resting up, Burrow should have plenty of time to regroup and gear up for the 2022 season.
