Joe Flacco returns to practice for Ravens
Cutdown day is usually a day full of difficult news across the NFL. The opposite was true for the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday.
Quarterback Joe Flacco returned to practice on Saturday. The team shared video of Flacco stepping onto the practice field:

Flacco has been out since camp opened in July because of a disk issue in his back. All along Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Flacco would be ready for Week 1.
With the longtime Baltimore QB back to practice on Saturday, fans should feel comfortable about seeing their top arm under center next weekend at Cincinnati. That’s a much better feeling than they had watching Ryan Mallett quarterback the offense in Flacco’s absence.
Flacco has played all 16 regular season games in all but one year during his nine-year NFL career.
