Joey Fatone won’t rule out NSYNC reunion for Super Bowl halftime show

There have been unconfirmed reports that Justin Timberlake has reached an agreement to headline the halftime show at Super Bowl LII in Minnesota. And if that wasn’t exciting enough news, girls who grew up in the 1990s may lose it when they hear that an NSYNC reunion is not out of the question.

TMZ caught up with former NSYNC member Joey Fatone this week, and he was asked about the possibility of the boy band reuniting if Timberlake did, in fact, land the halftime show. Fatone wouldn’t rule it out.

“You know what, it’s one of those things just like when we did the MTV Awards,” he said. “If it’s right, we’ll do it. If everybody can’t do it, then we don’t do it.”

NSYNC split in 2002 when Timberlake went on to launch an incredibly successful solo career, but all indications are that the original members are still on good terms with each other. As Fatone mentioned, they got the band back together for a performance at the MTV Music Awards back in 2013.

Timberlake is not the only show-stopping name that has been tossed around for this year’s Super Bowl halftime show, and the NFL has yet to make any official announcements.
