Jordan Matthews delivers quote of the year about Buffalo
Jordan Matthews delivered a hilarious quote about his time in Buffalo.
Matthews spent three seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles after being drafted by them in 2014. They traded him to the Buffalo Bills prior to the 2017 season, and he failed to make much of an impact on the field. Matthews fought injuries and only had 25 catches for 282 yards and a touchdown — all career-low marks.
But Matthews’ time in Buffalo was fruitful for a different reason; he became a father.
“When I was in Buffalo, there was like nothing to do there, except … have fun with your wife. She got pregnant. So we always say we got a Buffalo baby. Ain’t nothing to do there, except each other,” Matthews said, via NBC Philadelphia.
Matthews got married last June and had a baby in August.
Matthews is back in Philadelphia now. The Eagles signed him after working him out this week. Matthews previously was with the Patriots but was let go after reaching an injury settlement with the team. He has yet to record any stats this season, unless you count diapers cleaned.
