Josh Allen more or less put the Buffalo Bills on his back Sunday and carried them to a 27-24 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Wild Card game at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla. He seemed to acknowledge how tough the game was afterward, too.
Allen did not appear fully healthy for much of Sunday’s game and went into the medical tent multiple times, including for a hand issue. Despite that, he battled back to win the game for Buffalo in the final minute.
Allen’s locker room speech alluded to how much of a grind the game was, but he summed things up with a three-word message.
“Shooters f—ing shoot,” Allen said.

When Allen is on the field, the Bills really do feel inevitable. On Sunday, he went 28/35 for 273 yards with a touchdown. He also scored two rushing touchdowns, including the game-winner with just over a minute to go.
The win was the first road playoff victory of Allen’s career. With a wide open field in the AFC, a lot of people understandably think this might finally be his year.
