Julian Edelman played quarterback in college and showed once again that he still maintains his strong passing skills.
Edelman threw a go-ahead touchdown pass in the third quarter of Sunday’s New England Patriots-Philadelphia Eagles game to make it 15-10. On a 3rd-and-11 play in the red zone, he took a backwards pass from Tom Brady and fired a perfect strike in the end zone to Phillip Dorsett.

Edelman began throwing passes in the Patriots’ offense in the playoffs in 2014 and threw a touchdown pass against the Ravens that postseason. He attempted another in the 2016 postseason and missed. Last year, Edelman went 2-for-2 on passes in the regular season. He’s now 4-for-4 on passes since last season. And yes, he has a perfect passer rating in the regular season. What’s up, Tom?
