Julian Edelman evaluated for head injury after being called for pass interference on collision
Julian Edelman suffered a possible head injury during Saturday’s game between his New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills.
Edelman was called for a pass interference on a rub route in the third quarter, wiping out what would have been a 33-yard touchdown by Benjamin Watson. As if getting called for the penalty to call back the TD weren’t enough, Edelman got nailed in a collision and appeared to suffer an injury.

Edelman first went into the medical tent on the sideline and was then seen going into the team’s locker room. NFL Network later shared that Edelman was being evaluated for a possible head injury.
Edelman entered the game with a significant knee injury and had four catches for 42 yards prior to exiting.
