Khalil Mack reportedly absent from Raiders’ offseason program
The Oakland Raiders may have a contract issue on their hands with pass rusher Khalil Mack.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Mack was unusually absent from the first day of the Raiders’ offseason program on Monday. He does not have a contract beyond this year, and there is speculation that could be a reason for his absence.
#Raiders star pass-rusher Khalil Mack is not in the building as Jon Gruden begins offseason conditioning today, team sources say. That’s unusual for Mack, who does not have a long-term deal. Of note: Mack has the same agent as Trumaine Johnson, who just played 2 years on the tag.

The Raiders have had to put off extending Mack for quite a while. They can still franchise tag him if they need to next season, but this could be a clear indication that Mack would prefer not to go that route.
