Patriots’ Kyle Van Noy promises playoff ‘revenge tour’
The New England Patriots appear motivated to right some wrongs after a disappointing end to their regular season.
The Patriots fell to lowly Miami at home on Sunday, costing them the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs and the bye week that went with it. The team is still looking on the bright side, however, with linebacker Kyle Van Noy promising a “revenge tour” during the postseason to make up for that disappointment.
Kyle Van Noy: We have a chance to go on a revenge tour. What better way than start with Tennessee who we lost to last year

Van Noy has a long memory. The Patriots did lose to the Titans back in November of 2018, and he clearly hasn’t forgotten ahead of their playoff game this week. We know New England loves to thrive on perceived disrespect — remember how Deflategate fueled Tom Brady? — so maybe this will work out. The opportunities will certainly be there, as the Ravens, Chiefs, and Texans all beat New England this season. Whether it can overcome what looks like one of the lesser Patriots teams in recent memory remains to be seen, but we’ve seen New England switch it on in the playoffs to defy expectations before.
