Kyler Murray’s relationship with the Arizona Cardinals has been subject to intense scrutiny recently, and the quarterback had his say on that Monday.
After scrubbing his social media pages of all references to the Cardinals, speculation emerged that the quarterback and the franchise were at odds on multiple fronts. Murray responded on Monday with a message about his commitment level.
“All of this nonsense is not what I’m about, never has been, never will be,” Murray wrote. “Anyone who has ever stepped between those lines with me knows how hard I go.”

Murray appears to be responding to an unflattering report suggesting that he pulled himself from a playoff game. Other reports have indicated that Murray feels scapegoated for the team’s early playoff exit, and this may be a response to that as well.
The discord between Murray and the Cardinals does seem real at the moment. However, it does not sound like there is concern about this becoming a long-lasting issue. Murray’s latest comments are pretty defiant, and it certainly seems as though he feels he’s upheld his end of the bargain.
