Lamar Jackson dealing with multiple injuries ahead of Week 9
Baltimore Ravens fans are starting to get concerned about Lamar Jackson heading into the team’s Week 9 game against the Denver Broncos.
Jackson missed practice on Thursday for the second consecutive day. The reigning NFL MVP has been listed with back and knee injuries. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Jackson’s absence on Wednesday was “rest” related, but the quarterback then sat out again on Thursday.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (back/knee) is not practicing for a second straight day. Ravens HC John Harbaugh described yesterday as a “rest” day for Jackson, but he’s not out there again today. With two games in five days, Jackson’s status obviously becoming a storyline.

There was no obvious sign that Jackson suffered an injury during Sunday’s loss to the Cleveland Browns. He finished 23/38 for 289 yards, 2 touchdowns and no interceptions. Jackson also looked like his usual mobile self with 8 rushes for 46 yards.
The big story for the Ravens this week has been the ex-Pro Bowl wide receiver they landed in a trade, but Jackson’s status has now become newsworthy.
Jackson is having another outstanding season. He ranks near the top of the NFL with 2,099 passing yards, 17 touchdowns and just 2 interceptions. He also has 501 rushing yards and a pair of scores on the ground.
