Lamar Jackson was livid after throwing terrible interception
The Baltimore Ravens’ frustrations started to boil over late in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s AFC Championship as their offense continued to come up short at the worst possible moments.
Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was particularly frustrated after throwing a terrible interception with 6:54 left and the Ravens trailing by 10. Jackson was looking for tight end Isaiah Likely in the end zone, but threw into triple coverage and was picked off by Chiefs defensive back Deon Bush. Jackson’s reaction said it all, as he slammed his helmet down in frustration as he got to the sideline.

The likely MVP simply did not perform well on Sunday, as the Chiefs defense kept him from really hurting them with big plays on the ground. He went 20/37 for 272 yards with a touchdown and an interception, and was limited to just 54 rushing yards.
Jackson has openly talked about how badly he wants to win a championship as soon as possible. By the fourth quarter, some of his plays looked like they were coming from a place of near-desperation. He will be devastated to fall short in the AFC Championship this time.
