Lamar Jackson returns after clearing concussion protocol

Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson returned for the Baltimore Ravens after being cleared from concussion protocol during Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Jackson entered concussion protocol after completing a drive in the third quarter. He was checked in the medical tent and then in the team’s locker room. The rookie quarterback was eventually cleared and returned to the field after missing a possession.

Robert Griffin III, who is serving as the team’s backup with Joe Flacco injured, led the Ravens on a 14-play, 60-yard drive that ended with a field goal.

Jackson was making his third straight start for Baltimore and looking to go 3-0. If he is able to do so, the Ravens will have a tough choice on their hands regarding who will be the team’s starter in Week 14.
