Lamar Jackson is already ‘tired’ of his playoff record
Lamar Jackson has appeared in two playoff games in his young career and lost both of them. That’s not a record that sits well with him at all.
The Baltimore Ravens quarterback admitted that he’s bothered by his playoff failures, and needs to get into the win column as soon as possible.
“I need to win a playoff game before anything because I’m tired of that already,” Jackson said, via Todd Karpovich of RavenCountry. “Once I get tired of something, I have to make it happen. So, that’s my goal right now; focus on being a better player all around. Not just a [better] player, but teammate as well.”
Jackson has been doing a lot of reflecting on his playoff losses lately, particularly last season’s. It’s clear what his motivation is in 2020. He’s certainly not shying away from the expectations, for better or worse.
