Landon Collins calls teammate Eli Apple a cancer
Landon Collins made it clear on Tuesday exactly how he feels about teammate Eli Apple.
During a radio interview with ESPN’s Bob Wischusen, Collins, who was placed on IR this week, called Apple a cancer.
You don't often hear an NFL player call a teammate a cancer on the radio, but Landon Collins just said that about Eli Apple to @espnbob

There have been consistent reports coming out the past month that seem to be singling out Apple as a bad apple on the New York Giants. One last month said Apple was so sensitive to criticism that he threatened to walk out on the team. Another story two weeks ago said that Apple was “disliked” within the organization.
This is not the first time Collins has specifically called out Apple, who was a first-round pick by the team last year. Collins said last week on the radio that Apple needs to “grow up.”
Apple has gone through lots of personal difficulties this year. His mom underwent brain surgery during the season. Apple has also been without his stepfather, who has been an important part of his life.
Given all the tension in the locker room surrounding Apple, the Giants will have to give a lot of thought to bringing Apple back next season.
