Here is why Lane Johnson wore a dog mask after playoff win
Lane Johnson was seen wearing a dog mask on the field after the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Atlanta Falcons 15-10 in their NFC divisional playoff game on Saturday, and there is a reason for that.
Here is the Eagles offensive lineman wearing the mask:

So what’s the story with the mask? The Eagles were actually underdogs for their game against Atlanta, and made history for being the first No. 1 seed to begin the playoffs as an underdog. The dog mask was clearly a nod to their underdog status.
Johnson had said in the week leading up to the game that the Eagles felt disrespected by the way the media viewed them following Carson Wentz’s season-ending knee injury.
Lane Johnson says he was irked by late-season talk about the Eagles after Carson Wentz went down: “We were 12-2 and we were treated like we were the Browns.”

Now that they’ve advanced to the NFC Championship game, it’s hard to call the Eagles underdogs anymore. Maybe this was the motivation Philly needed entering the playoffs.
