After making a comeback from knee injuries last year, Lindsey Vonn has suffered another injury that will keep her off the slopes for a period of time.
While training this week, the alpine skier suffered a broken humerus bone in her right arm. In a post on her Facebook page, Vonn said her knees are fine and posted a few x-ray photos.
Vonn finished the 2016 season ranked No. 2 overall among women alpine skiers by the International Ski Federation. For downhill events, she finished No. 1.
