Watch: Lions fans mercilessly boo referees during Sunday’s coin toss
Detroit Lions fans are not over what happened last Monday night at Lambeau Field.
Sunday’s refereeing crew for the Lions’ game against the Minnesota Vikings was booed loudly during the coin toss at Ford Field. The booing was so loud that fans could barely hear the coin toss announcements.

Can barely hear the refs explain the coin toss over the boos.

NFL Network reporter Tom Pelissero said that the reaction to the referees was the loudest booing he’d ever heard at Ford Field.
Referee Bradley Rogers announcing the coin toss and the boos are the loudest I've ever heard at Ford Field.

Lions fans are still fuming over several questionable penalty calls that cost Detroit a win against the Green Bay Packers last week. That anger was clear if you drove around metro Detroit for a bit during the week. This is obviously not the same crew responsible for what happened in Green Bay, but it hardly matters. They’ll be taking the heat on Sunday no matter what.
