Big news about Lions WR Jameson Williams emerges
We may have found the only thing that could slow down the Detroit Lions’ offense at this point.
Wide receiver Jameson Williams is facing a two-game suspension from the NFL for a violation of the league’s Performance Enhancing Substances (PES) policy.
The third-year wide receiver told ESPN that he has “no choice but to take it on the chin,” indicating that he will accept the suspension.
“I’m in good spirits just ready to get back with the my brothers ASAP soon as possible,” Williams said Monday, via ESPN’s Eric Woodyard.

The suspension for Williams comes at a tough time in terms of momentum.
The No. 12 overall pick in 2022, Williams has 17 catches for 361 yards and 3 touchdowns this season. He had only played in 6 games as a rookie while recovering from a torn ACL suffered at Alabama. He also missed four games last season due to a violation of the NFL’s gambling policy.
This will be Williams’ second NFL suspension.
