Marcus Mariota questionable to return with stinger
Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota did not return for the start of the second half after suffering an apparent injury.
Mariota went down late in the first half against the Washington Redskins after appearing to fall hard on his elbow. Even after the halftime break, there was no sign of the quarterback on the sideline, as backup Blaine Gabbert was sent out to warm up for the second half.

Official word from the Titans was that Mariota had a stinger and was questionable to return.
Titans announce QB Marcus Mariota (stinger) is questionable.
Stinger was what knocked him from Indy game. No one is really sure how it all relates to the elbow/nerve from Week 1. Gotta be connected, somehow.

Mariota has already dealt with a very similar problem last month.
The Titans are locked in a tight playoff race and cannot afford to give much ground. Having to put Gabbert in at this stage of the season is far from ideal for them.
