Marcus Peters does Marshawn Lynch TD celebration
Los Angeles Rams cornerback Marcus Peters put the finishing touches on his team’s win over the Oakland Raiders with a pick-six on Monday night, and he gave a nod to Marshawn Lynch as he dove into the end zone. Or, some might call it a playful jab.
For Lynch fans, the pose Peters struck will look quite familiar:

Lynch was fined by the NFL several years ago for pulling the same crotch-grab celebration on one of his touchdown runs. While some believed Peters may have been mocking him, it should be noted that he and Peters are very close. Both players grew up in Oakland, and Peters has referred to Lynch as his “cousin” in the past. Even if Peters was taunting Marshawn, it was clearly in good fun.
Of course, Raiders fans might not see it that way. Their 33-13 home loss was an embarrassing start to Jon Gruden’s second tenure with the team and a great reminder that they may have made a massive mistake with their recent trade.
