Manuel and Sanchez are former first-round picks. Manuel was cut by the Raiders before the season. He saw action in two games last season. Sanchez, 32, was the Bears’ third-string QB last year. He was suspended four games to start the season due to a failed PED test.

Yates, 31, played four games last season for the Texans, throwing four touchdowns.

Washington’s current starting quarterback following the injury to Smith is Colt McCoy.
