Ohio State product Marvin Harrison Jr. could not have been more excited about the 2024 NFL Draft held at Campus Martius Park in Detroit, Mich.
Harrison on Thursday was selected fourth overall by the Arizona Cardinals. Hours before his name was called, the wide receiver prospect posted a heartfelt message on X.
“Man nothin motived [sic] me more than watching the NFL draft every year and hoping that’d be me… and now I’m here,” Harrison wrote with an emoji.

Harrison Jr. had three standout seasons at Ohio State. The 6’3″ wideout caught 67 passes for 1,211 yards and 15 touchdowns across 12 games during his final year with the Buckeyes.
Harrison Jr. is the son of NFL Hall-of-Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison. The elder Harrison played 13 seasons in the NFL and earned 8 Pro Bowl nods, a career which his son likely hopes to emulate — if not exceed.
