Free agent running back Matt Forte is headed to the New York Jets, according to a report.
Adam Schefter was the first to break the news that the former Bears feature back is off to the Big Apple.

The Miami Dolphins and Green Bay Packers were also reportedly interested in Forte’s services. Forte will replace Chris Ivory who agreed to terms with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Forte’s best days are likely behind him, but he’ll be a decent option for a team that came close to the playoffs in 2015. Now, perhaps, New York can get on with addressing their unsettled quarterback situation.
