Michael Sam, boyfriend Vito Cammisano are engaged

Michael Sam is officially off the market.

The former St. Louis Rams and Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman got engaged to longtime boyfriend Vito Cammisano this week while the two were vacationing in Europe. While it is unclear who proposed to who, TMZ discovered that one of Cammisano’s friends congratulated Vito and Michael on Instagram and Sam “liked” her post.

Sam has been very open about his relationship with Cammisano since he came out publicly. The two kissed on national television after Sam was drafted by the Rams back in May, and the public display of affection became an incredibly hot topic for debate. Sam later brought his better half with him to the ESPYs and thanked him when he received the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.
