Mike Evans has said he will apologize to Marshon Lattimore for the cheap shot he delivered to the Saints cornerback earlier this season.
During the Week 9 game between the Buccaneers and Saints, Evans came out of nowhere and shoved Lattimore, who at the time was mixing it up with Jameis Winston. You can see video of what transpired below.

Evans was not ejected from the game, which was even a surprise to Evans. He did, however, receive a one-game suspension.
Tampa Bay and New Orleans will meet this weekend in the regular season finale for both teams. At some point during the game, Evans said to ESPN he plans to apologize to Lattimore for the shove. He also told ESPN it was a “bulls— move” on his part and that it was done “in the heat of the moment.”
Lattimore, the No. 11 overall in this year’s draft, has been a bright spot for an improved Saints defense this season. Evans is one of the NFL’s more physically gifted and talented receivers, which should make for a good matchup when the two go head-to-head.
