Mike Glennon agrees to deal with Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars appear to be committed to Gardner Minshew as their starting quarterback heading into the 2020 season, and the move they made at the position on Friday is further evidence of that.
The Jaguars have added some quarterback depth by signing veteran Mike Glennon to a contract, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
The #Jaguars have added a veteran QB, agreeing to terms with Mike Glennon, league source says. He comes in behind Gardner Minshew to add some experience to the team’s QB room.

Jacksonville will be Glennon’s fifth team since he entered the NFL as a third-round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers back in 2013. He started 13 games his rookie year but has started just nine total since then. Glennon has a career passer rating of 84.3.
Many predicted the Jaguars would sign Andy Dalton and have him compete with Minshew for the starting job, but Minshew clearly has the full confidence of head coach Doug Marrone.
