Report: ‘Minor’ injury sidelines Trey Flowers at start of camp
Detroit Lions defensive lineman Trey Flowers will get a late start to training camp due to what is being called a minor injury.
Flowers was placed on the PUP list to open camp, with the Lions not giving any details on what Flowers’ issue was. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Flowers is dealing with a minor injury.
Sounds like this injury is minor, I’m told. Flowers didn’t do much in OTAs, either. https://t.co/k2YLRhjwUT

There are no indications that this should be any cause for concern in Detroit, though it remains to be seen how long the issue lingers.
Flowers, the crown jewel of Detroit’s free agent class, joins the Lions off three successful seasons in New England, where he collected 21 total sacks.
