Wide receiver Nelson Agholor was the target of ire from Philadelphia Eagles fans after he essentially seemed to give up on a long pass from Carson Wentz on Sunday night.
Agholor could have laid out for the pass from Wentz, which looked like a catchable ball if he did, but instead gave a pathetic-looking effort. He defended himself on Tuesday, stating that the play looked bad because he failed to pick the ball up until late.

Maybe he was. It still looks pretty bad, especially when Wentz made a pretty good throw on the effort. No, this isn’t why the Eagles lost, but it’s not a good look. It’s also not going to do much to endear Agholor to some fans who already dislike him.
