Obituary blames ‘Seahawks lousy play call’ for man’s death
The Seahakws lost Super Bowl XLIX in heartbreaking fashion and the decision to attempt a pass from the one yard line, instead of handing the ball to Marshawn Lynch, has appeared in a fan’s obituary. Here’s an excerpt via The Spokesman-Review:
He was a small business owner in Kent, WA and loved his family, work, clients, traveling, the Seahawks and life. We blame the Seahawks lousy play call for Mike’s untimely demise.
Michael Vedvik passed away at the age of 53, although the Seahawks weren’t really the cause, as his wife shared.
“My husband would have thought it was hysterical,” Stephanie told The Spokesman-Review about the line that was added to the obituary by Mike’s brother-in-law. “If I had read this obituary to my husband about somebody else, he would have had a laugh.”
Fittingly, one of the photos that appears in Vedvik’s obituary is of him in a Seahawks sweatshirt.
