Odell Beckham offers little explanation for pretending to pee like a dog

Odell Beckham Jr caught his first two touchdown passes of the season in a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday, and he made the most of them with his end zone celebrations. The star wide receiver was asked about his seemingly planned performances following the game

After the first score, Beckham crawled on his hands and knees and pretended to pee like a dog.

When asked what inspired him to imitate a dog, Beckham didn’t offer much of an explanation.

“I don’t know. I’m in the end zone. I’m a dog. So I acted like a dog,” he said, per SNY’s Ralph Vacchiano.

Beckham’s second celebration seemed a bit more obvious. He raised his fist in the air on a day in which there was widespread protesting across the NFL because of some recent comments made by Donald Trump. Still, Beckham chose to leave his motive to our imagination.

Odell Beckham on his 2nd TD celebration (a raised fist): "Did it look like it (meant something)? Then it might have meant something."

On Friday, Trump said NFL owners should fire any “son of a b—” who kneels during the national anthem. There is some belief that it was Trump’s choice of words that inspired Beckham to pretend he was a dog, though the receiver did not confirm that.
