Osi Umenyiora wishes LeSean McCoy a happy Mother’s Day
It should be no surprise that members of the Eagles and Giants are beefing. It’s even less of a surprise when the parties beefing are Osi Umenyiora and LeSean McCoy.
A refresher for any of you behind on this comedic, at times childish, NFC East feud: During Umenyiora’s contract dispute last year, McCoy, a so-called “Internet gangster,” went on Twitter to call Umenyiora soft, overrated and the third best D-lineman on the Giants. Umenyiora responded by saying McCoy crossed the line and also started referring to the Eagles running back as “she” and “Lady Gaga.”
You would think it would end there, or at least take a hiatus during the offseason, but no. Trash talking in the NFL is a year-round business. So, here we are Sunday, on Mother’s Day, with Umenyiora sending the following tweet out to his 15,000 followers, none of them likely McCoy:

McCoy didn’t respond directly to the Umenyiora, but did post this message on his own feed an hour and a half later:
