Several Packer interviewers are clearly offensive-minded quarterback-friendly coaches, and Gase would fall under that umbrella. While Aaron Rodgers is hardly a developmental project, Green Bay will want their next coach to get the best out of their franchise quarterback, which is why they’ve also brought in the likes of Jim Caldwell for interviews. Despite those two interviews, it’s another candidate who has been said to be the favorite to land the job when all is said and done.
