Packers will reportedly interview Adam Gase for head coach job

Adam Gase

The Green Bay Packers will reportedly be the latest team to interview former Miami Dolphins coach Adam Gase.

According to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Packers are set to interview Gase to replace former head coach Mike McCarthy.

Several Packer interviewers are clearly offensive-minded quarterback-friendly coaches, and Gase would fall under that umbrella. While Aaron Rodgers is hardly a developmental project, Green Bay will want their next coach to get the best out of their franchise quarterback, which is why they’ve also brought in the likes of Jim Caldwell for interviews. Despite those two interviews, it’s another candidate who has been said to be the favorite to land the job when all is said and done.
