Packers’ Jermaine Whitehead ejected for slap to head of David Andrews
Green Bay Packers safety Jermaine Whitehead was ejected for a slap to the head of an opponent during Sunday night’s game against the New England Patriots.
Whitehead got into a scrap with Patriots lineman David Andrews and slapped him in the face after Andrews had pulled and shoved him.
The NFL said Whitehead was ejected for “striking the head of an opponent” and that the ejection was confirmed.

The ejection happened during the second quarter of the game, and many people felt it was an unnecessarily harsh penalty.
