Packers trade RB Ty Montgomery to Ravens
Green Bay Packers running back Ty Montgomery made the biggest blunder of Week 8 in the NFL, and it may have resulted in the team deciding to part ways with him.
On Tuesday, the Packers traded Montgomery to the Baltimore Ravens for a seventh-round draft pick in 2020.
Ravens are trading a 7th-round pick in 2020 draft to Packers for Ty Montgomery, per source. Packers clearly wanted to move on, and so did Montgomery.

Montgomery, a former third-round pick out of Stanford, is a versatile player who never really lived up to his potential in Green Bay. Then on Sunday, he may have cost the Packers a win by ignoring orders to take a knee in the end zone and fumbling the ball with just over two minutes remaining.
The Packers were trailing by two points with 2:05 remaining and were in prime position for Aaron Rodgers to lead a game-winning drive, but Montgomery decided to return a kickoff and turned the ball over. Given the way Rodgers and some other Green Bay coaches and players felt about the miscue, it’s no surprise Montgomery was traded.
