Watch: Pat McAfee’s draft announcement was pure comedy
Pat McAfee’s draft announcement on Friday night easily has to go down as one of the best ever.
The former Indianapolis Colts punter announced the team’s third-round pick at the draft in Nashville and broke out into a 2-minute stand-up comedy routine. He poked fun at the Titans over their record against the Colts just as Reggie Wayne did, he used some self-deprecating humor, and his energy and delivery was excellent.

McAfee has gone into the entertainment business since calling it a career and has done comedy work. As you can see, he’s pretty darn good at it.
As for the pick, the Colts selected former Stanford linebacker Bobby Okereke, an undersized player who has a nose for the ball.
